Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Steel Masters NYC is fully licensed and insured for all steel fabrication and installation work throughout New York City and the surrounding metro area.

We serve all five New York City boroughs — Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island — as well as Long Island and Westchester. Do you work on residential properties?
Yes. In addition to commercial and industrial projects, we work on residential properties throughout New York City — including brownstones, townhouses, rowhouses, and co-op and condo buildings. Common residential projects include cellar door replacements, interior and exterior staircases, window security guards, roof railings, and miscelaneous custom ironwork.
Do you ship products?
No. We are a fabrication and installation company. We build everything in our Brooklyn shop and our crew installs it on-site. We do not ship or deliver products for self-installation.

How do I get a quote?

What information do you need to provide a quote?
The more detail you can provide the better — dimensions, location, type of product, and any drawings or photos of the existing conditions. For complex structural projects, blueprints or engineering specs are helpful. If you don’t have all of that, we can work from a site visit.
Do you work with general contractors and property managers?
Yes. The majority of our work is with general contractors, property managers, building owners, and facilities managers. We are experienced working within larger construction projects and can coordinate with architects, engineers, and other trades on site.
Fabrication & Installation
How long does fabrication take?
Turnaround time depends on the complexity and size of the project. Straightforward products like cellar doors or garbage enclosures can often be fabricated and installed within a few weeks. Larger structural steel projects may require more lead time. We will give you a realistic timeline when we provide your quote.
Do you install what you fabricate?
Yes. Our installation crew handles all on-site work. The same team responsible for your fabrication manages the installation through to completion.
Can you work from blueprints or custom specs?
Yes. We regularly work from architectural drawings, engineering blueprints, or field measurements. We also have in-house shop drawing capabilities for more complex fabrications.
What types of projects do you handle?
