Detailing
Non-slip surfaces where people walk, countersunk fasteners where nothing can stand proud, and beveled or angle-framed edges so the plate sits flush with the surrounding floor. On vehicle-rated plates we size the thickness and support framing to the wheel loads the location actually sees.
