Floor and trench cover plates, set flush or raised depending on the opening, bearing plates under beams, posts and equipment where load needs to spread evenly onto a foundation, wear plates at loading docks and ramps that take repeated wheel traffic, and temporary and permanent opening covers for floor and sidewalk openings while permanent work is completed.
Detailing
Non-slip surfaces where people walk, countersunk fasteners where nothing can stand proud, and beveled or angle-framed edges so the plate sits flush with the surrounding floor. On vehicle-rated plates we size the thickness and support framing to the wheel loads the location actually sees.
